Abosede (Abby) is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience, committed to providing quality mental health to patients, with dual-board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. The promotion of my patient’s total mental health, vital to their general well-being, is of utmost importance to me.
She graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelor’s degree, a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (across the lifespan). Her goal is to ensure my patients’ safety by using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions appropriately.
Married to a wonderful man with four children, she’s been volunteering with a children’s ministry since 2009. When she’s not working, she loves to read and garden.
