Dr. Ebrahim is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She graduated from King Edward Medical College, Pakistan, where she received a gold medal and distinction in Anatomy. Dr. Ebrahim completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism from Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY in 2002.
She practiced in Minneapolis for a number of years before moving to Dallas in 2016. She served as the Director of Endocrinology at the Minnesota Center for Obesity, Metabolism, and Endocrinology, Eagan, MN. She has been on clinical faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. She received several awards in her career including a nomination for clinical excellence award at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.
Her areas of interest and expertise include Diabetes, Obesity Management, Thyroid, Pituitary, Adrenal and Parathyroid gland problems, male and female hypogonadism, PCOS, hormone replacement therapy, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Ebrahim is a member of the American College of Endocrinology and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr.Ebrahim resides in Southlake, Texas with her husband and two children. She has an interest in astronomy and interior decoration and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
