Mr Estupinan is a recent graduate of the UT Arlington Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP program and he comes with a wealth of experience in emergency ICU and psychiatric settings. He became a part of the North Texas VA Medical Center in August 2023 as part of the PMHNP 2023-2024 cohort where he’s had the chance to work alongside various expert providers from different specialties to boost his clinical skills.
Mr Estupinan has a special passion for geriatric psychiatry the Hispanic community and supporting fellow veterans. With his rich background he really gets the unique challenges that these groups face when it comes to managing their mental health. This understanding allows him to craft personalized evidence-based treatments that support holistic well-being for these populations.
On top of that Mr Estupinan has shown incredible dedication to helping veterans who are struggling with homelessness and substance abuse by volunteering as a veteran peer supporter. He offers valuable medication education and helps connect veterans at Liberty House to essential healthcare resources. He knows how crucial it is to tackle both mental health and social factors that affect health because he understands that comprehensive care is key to helping people achieve positive results.
